We loved the value for money at this rustic ranch - it was a nostalgic and charming experience. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful canyon scenery and peaceful solitude. The staff treated us like family and ensured we had an excellent stay.
The breakfast option could be improved by providing a simple information sheet with wifi codes and event times, so guests don't have to go to the main office for every little question.

We had a wonderful time at Saguaro Lake Ranch during our recent stay. The location was stunning, with easy access to Phoenix and only a half hour drive from Sky Harbor Airport. It felt like an oasis of peace, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the cabins were delightful. The breakfasts were delicious and generous, and we enjoyed activities like horseback riding and kayaking right on our doorstep. Amber, our horseback riding guide, was fantastic and introduced us to the local flora and fauna. We wish we had more time to spend in this amazing place!

My recent stay at a charming desert oasis was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The location was stunning and easily accessible from Phoenix, making it a convenient getaway. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and the cabins were cozy and inviting. I particularly enjoyed the delicious and generous breakfasts each morning. The highlight of my stay was a morning horseback ride with Amber, who expertly introduced us to the local flora and fauna. If only I could have stayed longer to experience the kayaking on the river! Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as a shower head needing replacement and limited access to common areas, the overall experience was a memorable one. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful and beautiful retreat.

My husband and I stayed at this charming 1930's style ranch for my 63rd birthday celebration. John, the staff member, was incredibly helpful with hiking recommendations. The breakfast was delicious and the location of our room by the river was stunning. It was the perfect getaway to disconnect from screens and enjoy the beauty of nature. The ambiance of the common room with its old-world charm was truly unique. Tubing on the Salt River, watching eagles soar above, and spotting wild horses drink from the river made this an unforgettable experience. If you're seeking authentic history and untouched nature, I highly recommend this gem.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The staff are friendly and efficient, with a buffet-style breakfast that is highly praised. The grounds are well-maintained and offer plenty of activities for nature lovers, hikers, and bikers.
The shower handles in Room 15 were difficult to turn, which can be frustrating for guests.
